Matthew Zalewski:

Based in the Seattle area and originally from Metro Detroit (Motorcity), Matthew “Matticuski” Zalewski is a motorsports, automotive, and editorial photographer focused on capturing the speed, people, atmosphere, and stories surrounding motorsport.

Matthew has worked as credentialed media covering INDY, NASCAR, SRO GT America, GT World Challenge America, GT4 America, Porsche North America, McLaren Trophy America, Toyota Gazoo Racing, ARCA, USAC, and more.

His photography has appeared in media outlets around the world, including VICE News, Yahoo, GeekWire, The Daily Beast, Heavy.com, Daily Mail, Mountain Magazine, and others.

Before focusing on visual storytelling, Matthew served as a combat veteran and later as a police officer. That background shaped a documentary approach to photography built around anticipation, observation, and capturing moments as they happen.

Today, his work focuses primarily on motorsports and automotive photography, combining on-track action with the people, details, emotion, and environment that tell the complete story of a race weekend.

Matthew is available for select assignments throughout the Pacific Northwest and across the United States, including coverage for drivers, race teams, series, publications, sponsors, and automotive brands.
